Verdict
Solar Deity is a class-act on the all-weather and definitely up to beating these but hasn't race since April and has bigger fish to fry this winter. MAVERICK WAVE, an easy winner of his only all-weather start at Lingfield, ran a tremendous race when runner-up to Bronze Angel in a very tough handicap at Ascot last month. That was only his sixth start and with further progress likely this should be within his capabilities. The ex-Irish Earth Drummer couldn't quite cope with a 9lb rise on his debut here last month but it was still a fine effort while Ginger Jack is two from two on Polytrack and has been in good form. Docs Legacy won a bumper over 2m here and could find this on the short side, as he did at Redcar on Tuesday.
