      Verdict

El Jad is the most experienced of these and ran his best race to date when stepped up to 1m3f at Southwell last month, though he's looking exposed. Mr McCall looks as though he needs further while the superbly-bred Kaahira was very green at Chelmsford, despite attracting strong support. Approach The Land cost 130,000gns as a yearling but makes a belated racecourse debut while it's surprising to see the five-year-old Seven Pockets, with just two runs behind him, still with Roger Varian. FIGURES cost 200,000gns and the daughter of Fastnet Rock out of a Galileo mare wouldn't need to be special to make a successful debut.
