Verdict

There are some useful all-weather performers on show here but we'll go with a contender who has only been seen on Turf this term in UNIVERSAL ORDER. He remains open to improvement after just six runs, has already scored twice this term over 1m2f and was far from disgraced last time when beaten under 6l in the high-class, ultra-competitive Melrose Handicap at York. He drops back in trip to 1m4f for the first time which appeals as ideal for the Simcock colt. Lexington Empire should give it a good shot off topweight and both Cantiniere and Deal A Dollar are likely to progress again after coming good the last day.
