        Verdict

        EZRA CHURCH has proved frustrating to follow but now dropped back in trip he might have what it takes to break his duck. David Barron's gelding does not seem to have an extra gear at the end of his races but, knowing that he stays further than this, Graham Gibbons may be able to take that out of the equation with more forceful tactics. He is just preferred to Compton Park, who has been kept solely to this distance and fits a similar profile. David Bourton fits headgear on Anaya for the first time but the trip is a concern for her. My Name Is Bert can improve on his debut run and appears the most likely of the others to get competitive.
