    Verdict

The unbeaten TWEED will deservedly start a short-price for this. Willie Haggas' filly remains unbeaten having won her handicap debut at Newmarket in good style with the only reservation being she's yet to race on a fast surface. Corton Lad has won over a shorter trip at this track but has looked in the handicappers grip since scoring at Hamilton in August while Layl failed to improve for the step up to today's distance at Kempton last month.
