        Verdict

        Third over track and trip last time, Silver Mirage is weighted to beat the others with a handicap mark including Clabare and Nelson's Pride. But JAN VAN HOOF has more scope and Richard Fahey's charge gets the vote having finished runner-up to a subsequent handicap winner at Newcastle on only his second start. Sir Billy Wright finished closer last time but has yet to threaten while newcomer Two Turns is related to winners in Italy.
