        Verdict

        SCRIBE looks the likeliest winner of a poor handicap. He went close over track and trip earlier in the week and has little to beat in this. Dubara Reef will appreciate the return to a longer distance and is preferred to Waldsee, who is getting no nearer despite slipping down the weights. River Du Nord has won twice in Jersey but never figured in similar company here last time, and Tokyo Brown makes more appeal on only his second start of the year given he's been placed over 2m at Kempton off a higher mark.
