In depth

Verdict

TOTAL IMPACT makes most appeal in this claimer and he is taken to get the better of Misaro and Desperate Dan. The selection won in this grade at the end of last year and on these terms over this his best trip he looks a good bet to get his head in front again; his low draw is another plus. Misaro has got course and distance winning form and he did get his head in front when last seen in a claimer. He actually finished ahead of our selection that day but the drop back to this trip will suit Total Impact and on that basis we will nominate him. Desperate Dan hails from a yard who have made a decent start to the year and he has been given a little break since his last run at Kempton in November. The drop back to the minimum trip will suit and he is entitled to go close. The draw would be a negative for Buy On The Red, while Stash could be interesting now that he is dropped back into a claimer. This is quite trappy and the vote goes to Total Impact.
