In depth

Verdict

It is hard to look beyond KINGSTON FOLLY in this maiden; the list of dangers is headed by Peadar Miguel and Realta. It was a good effort from Andy Haynes's 3-year-old to finish fifth of 11 behind Hidden Glory on his debut. He looked as though he would come on plenty for his introduction to the racecourse and he should prove tough to beat today. Peadar Miguel is an interesting newcomer from the Mick Quinlan yard but the stable are not exactly firing on all cylinders at present and unless the market vibes are particularly strong then he is probably best watched. Realta is another newcomer worth a market check, while Creevy has had plenty of chances and she was well beaten here last time out. Quiet Mountain has had his problems in the past but he is lightly raced and he did shape quite encouragingly last time. He could go well at a price, but the vote goes to Kingston Folly who sets the benchmark for the others.
