      In depth

      Verdict

Atty Persse has struggled since finishing runner-up at Ascot in July and blinkers replace a tongue-tie on his second start after wind surgery. Not So Sleepy was second in the November Handicap at Doncaster last time but was beaten by RESTORER at Leicester in October and Ian Williams' charge is also better off on today's terms with Seafarer after finishing fourth to the latter at Newcastle. Always facing a tough task after a slow start last time, he should go close if breaking well today. C Note is upped in trip after scoring over 1m2f at Newmarket while Mount Tahan and Gawdawpalin have something to find with the selection and Grey Britain is preferred back over 1m4f for this.
