Verdict
Paul Blockley's horse are in great form at present and Gramada can give the yard another success, I Wish and Hard To Catch may provide most danger. The selection is relatively lightly raced and very versatile as regards trip. He won over a mile and a half at Carlisle in September and wasn't beaten far over nine furlongs here in December. He has good early pace and so this drop to seven shouldn't be a problem and a big run is expected. Hard To Catch continues to go close and hit the frame again last time when a close up third behind Stoic Leader over this trip at Lingfield last week. He has to carry top-weight here this afternoon, but is still capable of reaching the places today. I Wish is another consistent sort and ran her race again last time when runner up to Holiday Cocktail, she should reverse form with that rival and should reward each-way supporters again today. All in all a pretty tough race to assess, but Gramada has plenty of scope for improvement and just edges the decision.
