Verdict

A poor seller gets proceedings underway but something has to win and the principals look to be Gem Bien, Merdiff and Frank's Quest and the tentative vote is given to Gem Bien. The selection was a fair second behind Resplendent Prince in a better race last time out, this looks easier and from a good draw he need only reproduce that effort to win this with a little in hand. Merdiff rates the main danger on his latest third behind Competitor especially as this shorter trip looks sure to suit and he should be noted in the market. Frank's Quest is another that could go well on his latest second behind Terenzium but he has plenty of chances of late without taking one and he looks opposable on that basis. Danum is another that is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but he is also hard to win with and in a race where stakes should be kept to a minimum for the winner we return to Gem Bien who looks sure to run his race.
