Linda Green is preferred to Nistaki and Ever Cheerful. Although completely exposed, Linda Green's strength is her consistency and she does at least have the benefit of a favourable draw on Saturday. Nistaki is fairly consistent if not a frequent winner. The trip should be no problem under the circumstances and a good case can be made. Ever Cheerful is not easy to catch right but he has been running better than his finishing positions suggest and is watched in the betting. Joyeaux was down as a doubtful runner at the time of writing so must be accorded due respect if turning up.
