      Verdict

      A couple of recent winners could end up fighting this one out. Doldrums won her maiden over a shorter trip here last month and has every chance on her handicap debut. But it could pay to stick with the top-weight MODERNISM, a winner over 1m2f at Lingfield in October and raised only 3lb. Lean On Pete won at this track on his penultimate start but finished behind fifth-placed Berlusca off a higher mark last time and Gabrial's Hope has looked high enough in the weights since landing a double on the Polytrack early in the year.
