Verdict
Flint River will be a popular choice to follow up his recent win over course and distance, but he is a quirky customer and may not be one to place too much faith in. The locally trained Urban Myth is another attempting to defy a penalty and with Richard Quinn again taking the reins, he is one for the shortlist, although for a front-runner, he could have been better drawn. Diamond Green has more to do than when winning an Amateur riders event here last month, but he should again take care of Quiet Reading on these revised terms. Noble Pursuit ran well enough on his only previous outing here and with his yard in cracking form is one to keep an eye on. However, the vote goes to Alchemist Master, who bolted up at Southwell last week. It is no surprise he turns out quickly under a penalty as the Handicapper is sure to have taken a dim view of the way he treated his rivals that day.
