Verdict
A tough race to call here for punters with very little between many of the leading fancies but the principals look to be Compton Eclaire, My Legal Eagle and Red Moor with the tentative vote going to the last named. The selection has been in good form of late and a reproduction of his latest second behind Bosphros would make him hard to beat. Compton Eclaire rates the main danger he was a fair third in a better race behind Toni Alcala last time and will not be far away but he is hard to win with and for that reason he is passed over on this occasion. My Legal Eagle is another that could go well. He won well last time out when defeating The Last Mohican and that form has since been franked but he will find it harder under his penalty. Celtic Vision is another that could go well he ran as if returning to form when fourth behind Gargoyle Girl last time and has place claims but he has yet to prove he is as effective on this surface. Of the remainder Toledo Sun is from a shrewd yard and is worth a cautionary look in the market but for the winner we return to Red Moor.
