Dark Of Night was sent off favourite at Kempton for his debut but missed the break and never recovered. He’s preferred to stablemate Platinum Star but a third Godolphin runner in Pinatubo may prove a bigger threat on his introduction. Gobi Sunset is a likely improver but OCASIO CORTEZ should also have progressed for last month’s length defeat at Doncaster and it’s Richard Hannon’s filly that gets the nod to come out best. Archie Watson’s two-year-olds have won seven of eight starts on the all-weather tracks so far this year and War Storm looks a likely type on breeding with Genever Dragon another newcomer to note.
