In depth

Verdict

DAHAKAA caught the eye on his debut and ought to be good enough to break his maiden tag on his second attempt, while both West Leake Star and Kahail are worthy of respect. The selection finished third behind Angel's Pursuit at Newmarket on his debut running very green in the process. He will have benefitted from that experience and if doing so he will be difficult to oppose. West Leake Star has more experience than most with three runs under his belt. He ran a personal best when second of ten at Leicester on his latest run and if recapturing that form he is sure to be in the shake up. Kahail ran two solid races last month and both races have worked out well enough. He continues to improve but may fair better once put into a handicap. Dahakaa is the pick on paper and is the percentage call.
