Verdict

Only a small field goes to post for this handicap, but Royal Amnesty looks a solid bet and he is preferred to Moonlight Man and Gold Prospect. The selection is still well-treated on his best form of 2006 and the manner of his latest success over this course and distance marked him down as one to stay on the right side of. Moonlight Man ran a fair race last time when he chased home Bee Stinger. However, he doesn't look the most straightforward and against some seasoned rivals he looks worth taking on. Gold Prospect finished in mid-division last time out at Kempton, but he may have needed the run after an absence so he could fare better today. Speedy Sam could prove best of the others, but for the winner we will stick with Royal Amnesty.
