In depth

Verdict

Nawamees looks the one to be with here; the list of dangers is headed by Looks The Business and Treetops Hotel. The selection was reported to have bled from the nose last time at Lingfield when he was only narrowly beaten by Noble Minstrel. The drop back to this trip should suit and this course and distance winner looks a good bet to resume winning ways. Looks The Business was a well beaten third behind Kames Park here last time but he had previously gone close in a claimer at Lingfield and a reproduction of that form would given him a solid chance today. Treetops Hotel has not been at his best of late but he is upped in trip today and his last win did come over this distance so in this grade he has to be respected. Castle Frome finished second behind Climate in this grade last time and he is upped in trip tonight, but he has yet to win a race and he can't be backed with any confidence. This is a weak race to open the card and the vote is given to Nawamees.
