Verdict

Dawn Breaking returns to the all-weather raised 5lb after landing a double with a victory at Beverley while course regular Street Poet won here again recently and remains on a winning mark despite a 4lb rise. Makthecat has a shout dropping back down in trip though finished behind the runner-up THORN at Haydock last month when the latter was beaten only a neck and John Gallagher’s charge gets the nod on that form. Guvenor's Choice and Muraahin are others with a chance.
