Verdict
A wide open contest rounds off the card and many would have chances on their best form but the principals look to be Heathyards Pride, Regent's Secret and Richie Boy and the tentative vote goes to Regent's Secret. The selection won well at this course last time out when defeating Charmatic and with the step up in trip looking sure to suit he will be hard to beat. Heathyard's Pride rates the main danger he has won his last three races in the style of an improver and defeated Danebank last time. The booking of Kieren Fallon catches the eye and he will not be far away. Richie Boy is another worthy of respect he has also been in good form and he won a seller last time out but this looks more competitive and he will need to improve again if he is to win off this mark. Captain Marryat is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but he is hard to win with and for that reason he is opposed. Of the remainder Madiba has dropped to a handy mark and is from a yard in form so is worth noting in the market but for the winner we return to Regent's Secret.
