Mazzola, Gone Hunting and Night Seed make most appeal here and the vote is given to MAZZOLA. The selection is eased in grade today and at this level he looks to have rock solid claims. The yard are in good form and from the plum draw he looks the one to beat. Gone Hunting is the obvious danger as he went close in a nursery last time out and a reproduction of that effort should see him competitive today. Night Seed was disappointing last time out but that was in a Listed event and this lightly-raced filly should not be discounted lightly, especially as she has a good low draw. Alphabeth has held her form well and she got her head in front last time out when she beat Simple Rhythm here. That was the first time she had dropped into claiming grade so she has to be respected today, even though her high draw is far from ideal. However, this looks a good opportunity for Mazzola to get his head in front and he is taken to score.
