In depth

Verdict

Fantastic Delight, Gifted Flame and Goodwood Spirit are three against the field in a competitive finale and the vote is given to Fantastic Delight. The selection was a fair fifth behind Justcallmehandsome last time out. That form looks solid in the context of this race and he need only reproduce that effort to score. Gifted Flame rates the main danger based on his best form but he has shown little of late so cannot be put forward with much confidence. Goodwood Spirit has a good draw and looks sure to have the race run to suit so he is worth a cautionary look in the market. Mountain Climb is another that could go well but he has yet to prove he stays this far. Of the remainder, Pindar is from the Barney Curley yard so is another that should be watched in the market but, in a race where stakes should be kept to a minimum, Fantastic Delight is our idea of the winner.
