    Verdict

Estate still seems to be improving and whilst top weight is a fair old burden, the five-year-old gets the nod ahead of Ha'Penny Beacon and Inchpast. The selection won well over the course and distance three starts back and with three wins from his last four starts this progressive son of Montjeu can win again. It will be interesting to see if he is returned to hurdles shortly as he has proven proficient in that realm however another win beckons on the flat first. Ha'Penny Beacon can be a player having got off the mark at Catterick last time when he broke his duck. He stayed on well on that occasion and should get every yard of the trip, whilst Mr Mischief comes here in top form and cannot be overlooked easily. Right Option is very consistent and should be capable of a place at least, whilst Jamaican Flight is a valiant old performer but surely cannot win this despite a break; he deserves a cup of Ovaltine and to put his feet up now after proving a credit to connections. Calatagan has claims if building on his second at Catterick behind Ha'Penny Beacon and has a turn in the weights, whilst Inchpast has claims on the pick of his form. Again this is open, but Estate can win again.
