        El Emel (USA) Ex- german gelding who has been tried in some decent flat races and been popped over hurdles but has yet to recapture any of his European form.

        Keen Hands Never won over this far but is in good heart at the moment and should go well today; weight a slight concern.

        Inexpensive Can win after a long absence but looks a little harshly treated on what she has achieved.

        Santandre Genuine course and distance winner; has been winning recently but only in sellers; should have the ability to challenge for a place today.

        Arc (IRE) Moderate hurdler; has fair ability on the flat if a little inconsistent;tends to win when the money is down - watch the market.

        Al-King Slayer Improving maiden who is trying a handicap for the first time; doesn't look to be that well in on racecourse evidence so far and is best watched today.

        Welsh Ploy Off the track since trailing in last here in December; has some ability but place claims at best today.

        Mytton's Again Busy and consistent handicapped; can go really well on his day but looks to have too much weight today.

        Itsanothergirl First appearance since May and first outing at Wolverhampton does not bode well for this mare; stable in good form however so a good show would not be a surprise.

        Master Soden (USA) Fourth in a similar race to this last week will have sharpened up this lightly raced gelding; should go well.

        Distinctly Well (IRE) Last in four out of five of his last races tells a story.

        Caversfield On the evidence of his last run a drop in grade would have been advisable; today he takes a slight step up.

        La Paola (IRE) Struggled over 6f here 10 days ago after a long absence; should go better today but doubtful whether he will improve enough to take a hand in the finish today.
