Meet Me Halfway won here last year but hasn't raced since May and neither has Pontefract winner Cross My Heart. Alhaarth Beauty has struggled since scoring at Yarmouth in June and Star Of Rohm has gone backwards since winning his maiden. INDIAN AFFAIR is back on the same mark as when winning at Lingfield in June and he gets the nod as this looks easier than his recent tasks. King Bertie and My Boy Bill could prove best of the rest.
