Verdict
Stomachion was still beaten a long way despite finishing third at Goodwood in June and Takaathur is having his first start since making his debut at Kempton last year. The latter sports Godolphin's first colours though the newcomer Hawker is related to several winners and not easily dismissed. Breeding suggests this longer trip will bring out the best in MUTHAFAR and he gets the nod after finishing third over 7f at Newmarket on his seasonal return. Duchess Of Seville failed to improve here last time but the 120,000gns newcomer Wandsworth is worth noting.
