      Verdict

      CONQUERANT got off the mark when winning a Catterick maiden by three lengths. He gets the nod with an apprentice taking 7lb off his back for his handicap debut. Art Obsession is another maiden winner, but that was back in October last year while though In Focus won a handicap at Musselburgh last month he is upped in class for this. Doctor Sardonicus moves in the opposite direction having find life tough in Class 3 company at Newmarket.
