BESTOWED is in the right grade and may be able to break his maiden at the expense of Castle Myth and Chateauneuf. The selection hasn't enjoyed a great deal of success during the course of his thirteen race career but his two latest runs have been the best of his career. The most recent of them came at this track over a marginally shorter trip and he should be in the shake-up. Castle Myth has a similar profile to the selection but he was possibly a shade unfortunate not to have scored last time as he bumped into a potentially well handicapped rival. He's run well on both visits to the track and could be a warm order as a result. Chateauneuf has been beaten under three lengths on each of her last two starts and could make the frame in this company. She drops back in trip but that's unlikely to be an issue and more of a concern is her apparent lack of a turn of foot. Few are ruled out with confidence but the vote is bestowed upon Bestowed.
