    Verdict

ENSNARE won nicely the other day and he is preferred to Silver Guest and Le Chiffre in an open handicap. The Ian Williams-trained gelding was well in command at the line when sauntering to victory at Kempton nine days ago. A 6lb penalty won't be enough to stop him if in the same mood and from a good low draw he should run well. Miss Eze was second to a progressive rival last time out at Wolverhampton and is unexposed at this trip, Decameron has tumbled down the weights of late and must be considered with Joe Fanning a good jockey booking, whilst Silver Guest is consistent but he has stamina for this trip to prove and looks high enough in the handicap. Course and distance winner Murrin runs this track well and will be better here than at Kempton last time out, Le Chiffre is consistent and is of interest despite a 400 day absence, whilst El Libertador and Daniel Thomas are both consistent and should once again run their race. A 7lb higher mark for Ede's Dot Com's Kempton success makes life tough in this better race, and so we are happy to stick with Ensnare as the selection.
