Verdict
Libre is taken to land a hat-trick at the expense of mainly out of form opponents, with Ali Deo and Lara Falana perhaps the best of them. Frank Jordan's runner stands out in this company, having landed back-to-back successes here on his last two starts. Having won over seven furlongs in November, he looked even better when upped to today's trip next time, comfortably defying a rise in the weights, and can do so again here, with his turn of foot likely to settle matters quickly. Any support in the ring for Ali Deo would be of interest, and to be fair, he did not get the best of luck in running here last time, but needs to come down the ratings a few pounds if he is to add to his sole win that came when in the care of William Haggas in May. Lara Falana was not beaten that far on her first ever visit to Wolverhampton, and if she could recapture a bit of the form that saw her capture a class C handicap at Kempton in 2003, then she would be bang in with a chance. Libre sets the standard though and can pay to support again.
