In depth

Verdict

Sir Mark Prescott is back amongst the winners and Regal Riband can go in at the first time of asking, Ginger Pop and Putra Laju could provide most danger. The selection is a well bred daughter of Fantastic Light out of Regal Rose. She is a to Regal Royale who was successful on her two-year-old debut. The market will be very important but we expect here to attract support and land this weak looking affair. Putra Laju has earned a rating of 72 with some promising efforts, that should be good enough to see this one involved in the finish. However a bigger threat may be posed by Ginger Pop who showed plenty of promise on his debut in what looked a decent race at Kempton. Not To Know and Bold Saxon have also displayed ability and are worthy of a mention, but on this occasion we will chance our arm with the debutante Regal Riband.
