Verdict
A maiden that will not take much winning and FOCAIL EILE is selected to win and go one better to his second placing here on his latest start. Dropping back from nine furlongs to seven here means more forceful tactics need to be applied and in a race where only a few make any real appeal, he gets the vote. Azure Mist has had plenty chances to this point and once again the fact that she makes the short-list exemplifies the fact that this race lacks any strength in depth. She is a very one paced sort who lacks any turn of foot but will pick up a race of this type at some point with connections persistence. Metternich has the tongue tie removed for his second start and can be expected to improve from his first run but will need to. Quick Off The Mark and Resentful Angel are place contenders but in a very weak maiden Focail Eile can win it.
