Verdict
The weaker of the two divisions of the maiden can go to Cerebus, who proved almost got off the mark last time and will be very hard to get past with a similar effort today. Green Pirate showed nothing on his debut, but with his stable in such good form he has to be respected. Zorn has been knocking on the door but has already had plenty of chances and is not one to trust implicitly. Whereas Tintac hails from a yard that has a good record with fillies at the first time of asking and this daughter of Intikhab in one to watch in the betting. However, the fact that she is, as yet, an unraced four-year-old does raise an inquisitive eyebrow and their has to be the suspicion that she is not the easiest horse to train. which directly contrasts the profile of Cerebus, who was consistent for the main part of her juvenile season and can put her experience to good use in this company.
