Verdict
As with division one of this race there are a few characters in here that are too risky to recommend, and it is not a race to become heavily involved with as Cheltenham etc looms on the horizon. None of the bottom four in the weights has won a race on the surface and they are not too difficult to put a line through on the shortlist. Add the inconsistent Pleasure Time and Mr Uppity to that quintet and the combinations are whittled down to just four serious contenders for the forecast positions. However, a tentative vote for the selection as the outright winner goes to Nineacres, who is incredibly well treated on the pick of his form. His recent efforts do underline that his best days are behind him, but his close-up third to Attorney here last month hinted that he still has a race in him somewhere along the line.
