    Verdict

Valentinka won with plenty in hand over a mile at Lingfield back in November while Hold Fast has been in good form over the same distance and won at Kempton last month. Plumette also won over a longer trip at this track but LIGHT LILY went close over today’s distance with Port Noir behind last time and finished well ahead of Eyes when successful over 7f at Southwell in January. She gets the vote with first-time cheekpieces possibly bringing further improvement.
