In depth

Verdict

Both Three Platoon and Inn The Bull finished runner-up to Chipiron in separate races over track and trip but the latter was beaten by PROGRESSIVE over 1m4f here in between those victories. The winning hurdler will appreciate this extra distance and Nicky Henderson’s charge gets the vote on collateral form. Fitwood Star’s winning run came to end here in January and he also steps up in trip while Percy Willis landed a double over 1m4f on the Tapeta earlier in the year.
