        Verdict

        Alessandro Severo has shown enough ability at a similar level to suggest that a race of this nature is well within his compass. Nick Littmoden's charge was a fair third, beaten three lengths, behind Persario over 7f at Southwell last time and a reproduction may be enough in a poor event. School Days would have claims on her third behind Revealing at Newmarket in September but has failed to repeat the same level of form and is now visored for the first time. The Copt is entitled to progress from his debut fifth at Leicester earlier in the month and is another to consider.
