Verdict

Pagano can land the finale at the expense of Night Cruise and Emilys Place. The selection is bidding to double up after success at Kempton recently. He now carries a five pound penalty for that effort so connections must feel confident that he is better treated with a penalty rather than waiting to be reasessed. With trip and conditions to suit he will take the beating once again. Night Cruise did nothing wrong on his debut when winning at Kempton over the same trip. He has been put in off a handicap mark of seventy three which makes him carry top weight but he can only improve and is therefore one to note in the market. Emilys Place won back to back races at Sandown and Haydock during August but has since failed to trouble the judge. Having said that he carries bottom weight today and is tried with first time cheek pieces so is one to note but for the winner we return to Pagano.
