Verdict

Not a race to get heavily involved in, and one that could go to DIMAIRE, while Gower Sophia and Kummel Excess look the most likely dangers. The selection has made the frame on three occasions from seven career starts, and she has not been far away in any of her last four runs. The minimum trip is ideal for her, and while she was well beaten on her only previous try at the track it was the longer trip that did for her then. She goes well at Southwell, so this slowest of the Polytrack surfaces may suit and we will give her another chance. Gower Sophia goes well here but has a bit to find with the selection on their running behind Clear Ice, and in any case she appears better over 6f, so we'll take her on today. Kummel Excess has fewer miles on the clock and has her first start at this track today. On another line through Clear Ice, she looks capable of going very close in this and is much respected. Out The Ring has gone well here on a number of occasions in defeat and he returns to the minimum trip here, which looks a positive, though breaking that duck will not be easy. Boogie Waltzer has a bit to find at the weights but represents a yard in good form and the market should be noted, but Dimaire is the one for us.
