      Verdict

      Cosmic Ray won on only his third start on the all-weather at Lingfield in July and his second at Epsom in September came in a much better race than this. He has to go close if ready after a short break but ROBINS PEARL is also an improving three-year-old who has already shown a liking for Tapeta. She defied odds of 20/1 when scoring over a slight longer trip here in September but there looked to be no fluke about the outcome and she can defy a 3lb higher mark. Hernando Torres and Hercullian Prince have been getting closer again but Rocket Ronnie has looked in the handicapper's grip since a double on Turf.
