Verdict

BIG DADDY KANE (NAP) made a winning start in handicaps when scoring with plenty in hand at Newcastle. He has enough scope to defy a 6lb rise and can go in again. Storm Ahead went close again here last time when ahead of Keswick having won over track and trip before that while Sea Fox is upped a further 3lb after landing a double over shorter trips at the track. Home Before Dusk had also recorded a double over a mile at Newcastle before finding the selection too good while Fancy Footings has been in good form at Southwell since joining Tom Dascombe’s yard.
