      Verdict

Key Lago won narrowly here last month and this looks a fair mark for a first start in a nursery. Turn The Tide has been running in some tougher affairs than this as has The Sydney Arms. Both can do better against this opposition, but our very tentative selection is MY LOVE FAJER. The form has been franked for his loss to Latin Lashes when third at Kempton last time and this mark looks very realistic to compete. He gets the vote, with likely dangers Sacrosanctus who won against Johnny Hancocks last time out and artificial newcomer Fred Willetts worthy of merit. Ahtoug for Godolphin is strongly expected to challenge as long as he doesn't fade towards the finish as he did at Sandown in July, but the biggest threat may be Phoebs who runs under penalty. She was thought good enough by connections to race in the Group 3 Albany Stakes in June and Robert Mills has started off with a good record here this year.
