Verdict
Barenboim has shown good progress over middle-distances and looks worth a try over this far bidding for a hat-trick. Pistoletto has a bit to find with the latter while Lingfield winner Mukha Magic is upped in class. Imperium reversed earlier running with the veteran Withhold at Kempton last time and can figure but SOLENT GATEWAY (NAP) is preferred. Hugo Palmer’s charge looked in need of the outing when fading badly in the closing stages at Southwell on his reappearance but a repeat of last year’s third to Trueshan in the Northumberland Plate at Newcastle should see him go close in this.
