In depth

Verdict

Polka Princess has been well placed and had Glenviews Folly (now 6lb better for a length and a half) behind when completing a hat-trick over this copurse and distance last week. There should be more to come from the daughter of Makbul who will take plenty of beating with a top 5lb-claiming apprentice booked. Bakewell Tart was readily brushed aside by a six-length winner in a nursery at Newmarket last time and is now 2lb higher but this represents a significant drop in grade and the top weight should not be ruled out but recent maiden winner Linden's Lady has more to do off her current mark judged on previous handicap form.
