Verdict
Previous experience on this surface is always an advantage and although she will need further than this in time, the TEAMtalk vote goes to Fantastico. The filly has been a model of consistency without getting her head in front and has already run a good race on the fibresand at Southwell. She does not possess a real turn of foot which is why this surface should suit her so well, as she can wind it up from a long way out. Prince Of Gold had showed promise on the turf but was disappointing last time, however the big question is will he handle this surface on his dirt debut. Quintoto was an expensive purchase and has raced in two very competitive maidens so far, so this will be easier. However again the surface is the big question. Another AW debutante is Big Luciano who showed nothing on his debut but represents a stable who always improve remarkably for their first run. The Ring represents a top yard and again improvement would be no surprise.
