        AUGUSTUS CAESAR made a winning start in handicaps when successful over today’s minimum trip at Lingfield. He’s upped 7lb but beat a subsequent winner and finished well clear of the rest on that occasion. Astrozone went close at Southwell on last month’s handicap bow, though the form isn’t working out, but Silver Start finished in front of Wilfy when fourth at Lingfield, though the latter failed to get a clear run and may reverse running. Zulu Zander drops down in class and distance for this and is preferred to Baileys In Bloom of the remainder .
