CALIN’S LAD (NAP) produced a late surge to win over 7f at Kempton last week with the manner of that victory suggesting this extra distance will suit. He’s taken to shrug off 5lb extra and get the better of Steal The Scene. The latter was also successful over 7f last time though will need to improve on earlier attempts over today’s trip if he’s to figure again and the less-exposed A Place To Dream is preferred. Freedom And Wheat is back on a winning mark but debuts for a new yard but Odds On Oli can do better on this surface having failed to fire on the Fibresand at Southwell last time.
