        Society Red beat Precision Storm when scoring over track and trip and bids for a hat-trick having won again at Newcastle recently. ALEXANDER JAMES (NAP) came up short at Lingfield attempting to land a treble but still ran well for third in that Class 2 contest and Mick Appleby’s charge will find life easier back at this lower level. Byford finished in front of a below-par Surprise Exhibit when runner-up at Chelmsford but All Yours will find today’s trip short enough returning to the Flat.
